New Year's Eve

I woke up Monday morning, saw the weather forecast, and decided today was the only day left to go shopping, since I had to take the girls, and the mall I needed to go to is an outdoor mall. I needed to take my new bracelet to the jewelry store to get sized. At this particular mall, there is a small train that weaves its way around, ringing a bell and blowing a horn so all the children are sure to beg for a ride. There is no track, so often you are scooting out of its way and your kids are waving to it and begging for a ride. I told Emma that if she was good while we were shopping, we could ride the train. I think we actually spent more time looking for and using the restrooms than we did shopping. When we finally boarded the train, I thought she might burst. Before it ever started moving she was squealing with delight. Here are the faces of two excited little girls:

Happy New Year, everyone! In 2008 may you experience something that makes you want to squeal with delight.
